How to get it, step by step
- Download Maybank TREATS SG and log in with your Maybank2u username and password.
- Go to Privileges → Promotions and find “Year-End Bonanza Promotion Registration”.
- Tap “Save to My Coupons”. The Registration eCoupon in My Coupons means you’re registered (it’s not a win yet).
- Turn on notifications for the app in your phone’s settings. That’s how winners are told.
- Spend on your Maybank cards by 31 Dec 2026. Supplementary card spend counts towards the main cardholder. Every transaction must post by 7 Jan 2027, 11.59pm.
- Wait for the draw on 20 Jan 2027. Winners get a push notification and a Redemption eCoupon by 5 Feb 2027.

When should you spend?
- Register today, before any spend. Only spend after you register counts (T&Cs).
- The race is to hit the spend, not to register. Your place in line is when your spend reaches S$8,000 or S$15,000.
- Front-load big bills. Book December flights, hotels and big gifts in November. Maybank ran a similar first-1,000 luggage deal last year (Festive Campaign 2025) but never said when it filled.
- Aim to be done by mid-December. Slots may be gone by Christmas.

The miles angle: same spend, flights for next year
The prize is the cherry. The cake is the miles. On the Maybank Horizon Visa Signature, every S$1 earns TREATS Points you can turn into KrisFlyer miles at 1 TREATS Point = 0.4 miles (Maybank T&Cs, cl. 10):

Our maths using Maybank’s published rates above. Assumes at least S$800 of retail spend each month, transactions in S$5 blocks, and that all spend is eligible for both TREATS Points and the Bonanza. Bonus points on air tickets are capped at 40,000 a month (Horizon T&Cs); S$4,000 earns 16,000 bonus points, well within it.
Otto’s tip
36,400 KrisFlyer miles, earned on a trip you were taking anyway, and a 28-inch Samsonite is 75% likely to come with it. Family luggage sorted, next holiday half paid. Shiok!
The not-so-told tales
Otto says

- Register in the TREATS SG app first. Spend made before you register doesn’t count (T&Cs).
- Insurance, school fees and hospital bills don’t count. Neither do AXS, CardUp or e-wallet top-ups.
- Only the first 1,000 qualify (400 for Tier 2). So put your big bills through early.
- You don’t pick the prize. Most Tier 1 winners get the luggage, and only 20 get the Dyson.
- Keep the card for 6 months. If you cancel sooner, Maybank can charge you the prize’s value.
FAQ
Q: Will everyone who spends get a prize?
❌ No. Only the first 1,000 (S$8,000) or first 400 (S$15,000) to hit the spend get a prize, and a draw decides which one. Miss the cut and you get nothing (Maybank).
Q: Can I combine spend across my Maybank cards?
✅ Yes. Credit and debit card spend is added together, and supplementary credit card spend counts towards the principal (T&Cs cl. 2.2, 3.2).
Q: Can I win in both tiers?
❌ No. One chance per cardmember; hit S$15,000 and you’re in the Tier 2 draw only (cl. 3.3).
Q: Do business or supplementary cardholders qualify on their own?
❌ No. Business, prepaid and ATM cards and supplementary cardmembers can’t take part (cl. 2.2).
