Going direct suits you if you’ll spend S$800 and want KrisFlyer miles. SingSaver suits smaller spends, cash lovers or Asia Miles fans. You get one or the other, never both, because OCBC’s gift doesn’t cover applications made through other sites.
Do I pay the annual fee in year one?
✅ No. The S$196.20 fee is waived for the first two years.

💳 How to get it
- Apply on ocbc.com (or the OCBC app or a branch). Applications through SingSaver, MoneySmart or other sites don’t get the 22,000 miles.
- New to OCBC: no OCBC credit card now, and none in the last 12 months.
- Get approved within 30 days of applying, then spend S$800 in 60 days.
- Income: S$30,000 for Singaporeans and PRs aged 21–55.
Otto's tip
Apply a few days before 11.11 so your cart lands inside the 60 days. Your 60 days start the day you’re approved.

- You rarely shop online.
- You’d rather have cash or a voucher (see the SingSaver option above).
Things to note
- ShopeePay and Shopee/Lazada grocery buys don’t earn OCBC$.
- Points come in S$5 blocks per purchase.
- Keep the card at least 12 months, or OCBC can take the gift back.
